Kids are invited to conquer the Coney Island boardwalk on May 19 with Rising New York Road Runners at the Popular® Brooklyn Half. This one-of-a-kind event takes place in the heart of Coney Island and is open to Stage 2 and 3 participants. The event will feature an unforgettable one-mile run on the boardwalk that starts and finishes at the Popular Brooklyn Half finish line.

The out-and-back course will start and finish at the Popular® Brooklyn Half finish line, with a turnaround point at the halfway mark on the Coney Island Boardwalk.
Numbers (which include timing tags for Stage 3) may be picked up at the Popular® Brooklyn Half Pre-Party presented by New Balance on Wednesday, May 16, Thursday, May 17, and Friday, May 18. The Pre-Party will take place at Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Show the QR code from your confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on event day. Numbers will be available on event day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Event-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. New Balance hats, the souvenir for this event, will be available on race day only at Race-Day Central and are subject to availability.

All finishers will receive a medal. Top finishers in Stage 3 heats will be given podium awards.
