Join NYRR and Achilles International for a four-mile race through Central Park celebrating the spirit that brings together athletes with disabilities and able-bodied athletes.
Achilles International was established in 1983 with a mission to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream running events in order to promote personal achievement.

This event will feature multiple starts for athletes in various categories. The schedule of starts is as follows:

Live unofficial results are available during the race at liveresults.nyrr.org and in the NYRR app. Features include leaderboards, map tracking, and an individual runner search that can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends and family to follow your progress, and get unofficial results right after the race!
The course is the four-mile Central Park "inner loop."
Mile 1: Start on East Drive near East 68th Street and run north, ascending Cat Hill.
Mile 2: Continue north and and pass Engineers' Gate (East 90th Street). Turn left onto the 102nd Street Transverse.
Mile 3: Turn left on West Drive and run south through a series of three rolling hills as you pass the Reservoir on your left.
Mile 4: Enjoy a downhill, then a flat section. Finish near The Tavern on the Green.

Numbers (which include your timing tag) and T-shirts may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues) on the following dates:
Show the QR code from your race confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on race day. Race-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. Shirt sizes are subject to availability; please note that shirts may not be available at race-day pickup.
If you're unable to pick up your race materials, a friend or family member can pick up for you; the person will need your QR code (printed or digitally). This policy is in effect only for our weekly races, and not for the TCS New York City Marathon.
On race day, pickup will be at Race-Day Central at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m for the four-mile race, and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. for the kids' races. If you pick up on race day, please be sure to allow yourself enough time to get from Race-Day Central to the start.
Bag check, located on Center Road in Central Park, will be open from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. If you wish to check a bag, please allow additional time for bag check and security.
Plan to stop by the Naumberg Bandshell for the post-race festival, featuring entertainment, a prize drawing, and a presentation of medals for all finishers, including kids.
There are no age-group awards for this race. Achilles International will present awards specifically for athletes with disabilities in various categories.
Provided a minimum of seven participants finish in each of the following categories, cash prizes will be awarded after results are finalized:
Participants may not pass the lead vehicle, which will maintain a consistent pace.
