As April showers gave way to ideal spring racing conditions, more than 4,700 runners were delighted to #GetOutToRun in Central Park at the seventh-annual Boomer's Cystic Fibrosis Run to Breathe (4M) Brought to You by UnitedHealthcare.
Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, who was on hand to start the race and hold the finish tape, began his fight against cystic fibrosis when his son Gunnar was diagnosed with the disease.New York Athletic Club in an impressive time of 19:53.
